Six Famous Tourist Places in Manipur
1) Dzuko Valley, Manipur.
A beatuful place known for its beauty and peaceful environment. It is the place where we can find the one and only Siroy liily, that is not found in other parts of the world. The place can be reached either from Manipur side or Nagaland side as it lies in the boarder of the two states. Dzuko Valley is a mere 111.2 kms/ 69.1 miles from the centre of the Imphal Valley. The best time to visit the place is from June till September.

2) Leimaram Waterfall
An eye catching tourist place located just 24.4 kms /14.2 miles from the centre of Imphal. In this region there is three different waterfalls located at different levels although the first one is the most visited one. It is a perfect place for Picnic too.

3)Selloi langmai ecological park, Nongmaijing
An ecological park locate just 1.2 kms from the heart of the Imphal town. It is a very beautiful place located at the hill slope of Nongmaijing Hill. It is one of the most visited tourist spot in Manipur.

4) Keibul Lamjao National Park, Sendra
The one and only floating island in India, it is where KLNP is located. The endangered Sangai (Brow- antlered Deer) which is found nowhere in the world other than in Manipur can be seen in this park. Although there is no garantee that if we visit the park we will be able to see Sangai, it is worth a visit to this place as it has a very pleasant surrounding as we can get a good view of Loktak Lake, the largest Fresh Water Lake in North East India.

5) Sanamahi Temple
Located at the Foothill of Baruni Hill, the Sanamahi Temple is a famous tourist place in Manipur. It is located just a few kilometres from the Imphal Town. Its Surrounding areas are Sanjenbam, Takhel, Kambongbut, Andro, Wakha,etc.

6) Kanglatombi, Sekmai, Manipur
One of the famous tourist place in Maniur is Kanglatombi loacated at just 20.9kms/ 13 miles from the centre of the Imphal Town. It is also one of the famous Picnic spot in Manipur.
